Spruce Up Your Home with Artaic's Custom Tiles
From a Seattle-area project.
Imagine being face to face with the Space Needle while taking a shower. Or taking in views of Mount Rainier while relaxing in your living room.
Boston-based custom mosaic tile company Artaic is helping homeowners all over create more idiosyncratic bathrooms and other sections of the home with its lineup of mosaics. The company's product is both water and slip-resistant — with minimal grout lines — and looks good just about everywhere. Picture what you could do with a kitchen backsplash or a focal wall above the fireplace.
From a Las Vegas project.
The company uses robotic technology (its robot minions are called Arty, Arnold, Bertha, and Artemis) to design unique mosaics made from all types of tiles, from glass to stone and porcelain.
Artaic notes that a representative works directly with clients to help turn a vision into something tangible. Installation generally runs about $15-$40 per square foot, according to its website. The company recommends qualified tile installers for both commercial and residential customers.
